Security Rules Page

On the Security Rules page, you can create, edit, copy, and delete rules. The Security Rules page shows all the published and unpublished rules for your site.

To edit, delete, or change the status of a rule, click to the right of the rule.

You can change the order of the rules by clicking the dots to the left of the rule name and dragging. The table shows the following column headings: 

Column Heading Description
Type Shows whether it is a content security policy, a page security rule, or JavaScript injection.
Name Displays the user-created name for the rule. We recommend adding a descriptive name that explains the logic of the rule as it relates to the rest of the ruleset. You add this field when you create the rule in the Create Security Rule slider.
Rule

Displays the following content, depending on if the rule is a CSP, page security rule, or JavaScript injection: 

Content Security Policy Displays the CSP directive.
Page Security Rule Shows what site elements the rule applies to and whether it is in Report-Only or Enforce mode.
JavaScript Injection Displays the JavaScript

Applies To

Shows which pages the rule applies to. If the text says Matching Page Views, click to see which pages the rule applies to.

Status

Shows whether the rule is live, disabled, or pending.

Live The rule is active on your site. A rule only becomes live once you have published it.
Disabled The rule is not active on your site, but has not been deleted. You may want to disable certain rules for testing.
Pending Publication The rule has not yet been published and is not active on your site. Click Publisher to publish the rule.
